9th Portugieser du Monde Tasting Festival
A showcase of Central European Portugieser wines and producers

The Portugieser Du Monde Tasting Festival, a walking tasting of Central European Portugieser wines, will be held on 15 April 2023 at the Dóm Kőtár in Pécs. The event will showcase a variety of Portuguese and foreign Portugieser, Portugieser-based blends, as well as other wines representing the typical styles of the wineries. The event will also see the debut of Villány Wine Region’s 2022 vintage community bistro wine, Villányi RedY, which will showcase the cheerful face of Villány and will be available for tasting at the main organiser Villány Wine Region’s community stand, with a personal presentation by the producers.
Hungarian Wine Grand Prix
This year we will also have guests at the tasting festival, the Super 12, which are the 12 best Hungarian white and red wines selected by the Hungarian Wine Writers’ Circle, will be in Pécs and these wines will be available for tasting, and the Hungarian Wine Grand Prix certificates and trophies will be awarded here!
